Michael Bivins, Founder

Artist, Entrepreneur, Record Label Executive, Consultant, Commentator Founding member of the R&B group New Edition, Michael Bivins is known to be the man behind the scenes making deals and keeping the groups legacy alive. While working with his group, Michael branched out and formed a very successful record label in the early 90’s called BIV 10 Entertainment where he discovered and groomed the very popular group Boyz II Men.

He is the founder of the BIV25K street ball basketball classic which takes place annually in Boston, Massachusetts at Derby Ramsey Park where playground legends have an opportunity to compete against 8 different cities for money and bragging rights.Michael hosted Running The Point with Michael Bivins on NBA.com/TNT Overtime’s broadband channel where he provided insights and access to NBA players, celebrities and movie stars.

He was the Creative Consultant on MTV’s Making The Band 4 and hosted a weekly sports feature on AllHipHop.com called Bivins Blog which is the home of entertainment and sports. He was featured in Urban Influence Magazine as one of 2008’s Men of Influence for his business, community & urban lifestyle. Michael’s new company is Sporty Rich Enterprises - A company which portrays a lifestyle of Music, Entertainment & Fashion.
